Parent Carers Cornwall is a parent carer led not for profit Community Interest Company providing advice and support to parent carers of children and young people with SEND.

Parent Carers Cornwall believes parents are key to improving the life chances of children with special educational needs and that all parents should be well informed and well supported with accurate and timely advice. We aim to work in a way that recognises the impact on the whole family and empower and enable parent carers to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Utilising our many years of lived experience we aim to:

- Offer guidance and advice when making a new or a reapplication for PIP and DLA

• Helping parent carers to recognise the evidence they need to collect.
• The language they need to use when completing the forms.

- Organise coffee and chat sessions for parent carers around Cornwall,

• helping to reduce social isolation by bringing parent carers together.
